My name is Jono Humphris i am a student at UWE studying Diagnostic Imaging. I have always had a keen interst in photography and have enjoyed it as a hobby for a number of years. As most photographers do, they progress through the levels of cameras available. I started out with the standard point and shoot film camera then a few years ago got a Kodak Z640 with the usual telephoto, wide angle lenses etc. I went travelling in my gap year and when in Singapore i realised that i wanted to get a better camera for my travels so i bought a Nikon D40X with a few lenses etc. I got it before it had come to the UK so was a bit unsure of it. I realised i had bought an investment not just a camera. Also a bonus that it was cheaper than the UK price with the lenses included, i started snapping straight away. Since my travels which took me Australia, Hawaii, Thailand, India, Cambodia, New Zealand, Canada and Fiji, where i took thousands of shots, i have been sorting them on the PC using Photoshop CS3 etc and taking other shots at random locations throughout the UK. Im not a professional photographer but have got some wonderful photos from around the world so wanted to share them with anyone interested. I have alot of photos on file so will only put up some of the best or more interesting. I am available for events and occasions if i have time. Just contact me with any details or questions.
